ICK!!!....

Okay...I think everyone who knows me, knows I am absolutely TERRIFIED of spiders. To even see these pictures gives me anxiety!  Geez....

Thanks to Sophie's science teacher, Ms. Jennifer, for sharing her "pet" with the class.  I can say Sophie will be bragging about this for days!

Matagroda Weekend...

Sometimes we just need a little beach sand in our toes.  Our newest getaway is Matagorda Bay.  Easy access, short drive and the girls LOVE just being able to play in the sand.  Much needed relaxing.

We fished, flew the kite and as a bonus...Daddy caught a crab! Definitely the highlight of Sammy's vaca.
Trying out our fishing poles...

Have yourself a realxing day! Love.

Frozen Release Party...

Oh dear.  Yes, I think Mike was most excited for this day...the day Frozen comes out on DVD.  The day we learn every single word, song and action to the Frozen movie.  Pure joy.

The girls, needless to say, totally enjoyed every moment of our Frozen Release Party.  We got comfy in our pjams, first and foremost.  Then brought on the snacks of powdered sugar donuts, blue jello and white cheddar cheese puffs.  The girls brought out all their Frozen dolls and we, indeed, watched FROZEN!!

Most memorable night.

St. Patricks Day 2014...

This year we set out to catch our sneaky, mischievous Leprechaun. The girls helped assemble a contraption to trap him but unfortunately this little guy is just to quick!

He ended up "decorating" our potty and leaving a nice cash surprise in our trap! [Thanks Grumps] The girls received a lucky penny, skittles and a rainbow cereal necklace to scarf down for breakfast.  Of course, can't forget the Lucky Charms and green Milk too!

Perfect start to the school day!

Happy St Patty's Day!!  Hope your wearing green!!

Twenty-Two Months...

Our little character.  She’s 22 months and every ounce of cuteness. So sweet and lovable.  She is seriously…HILARIOUS.  Always waiting to entertain and make you laugh even when she’s into trouble.

She’s one of the strange kids that actually requests to go to bed.  She normally likes to be rocked for a few minutes but if she’s really tired she just wants “Beh”.  And…she sleeps through the entire night.  Sometimes she’ll wake up crying but nothing a paci won’t cover in mere seconds.

Her new favorite movie is Madagascar 3.  LOVES THIS MOVIE.  We, literally, watch it everyday…so much so I had to remove the DVD from the house and into the car so she didn’t bring it to me ANYMORE!  I think Sophie can quote the entire movie. Joy. And Charlie…well, if you ask her what Alex the Lion does she curls her hands and makes a “Roar” sound.   HYSTERICAL.  She also LOVES her zebra footy pjams…she thinks she’s Marty. Did I mention this chick LOVES Madagascar?

Breakfast got interesting…she’ll actually eat a banana muffin!  They kid who eats nothing.  All it took was Mom whipping up some yummy muffins!  Okay, okay…I won’t get ahead of myself.  We’ll see how long it lasts.

New word…”Ah-duh” = All done.  iPhone.  Ugh…her request to play a “gum” on our phones is enough to drive someone mad.  But…with that being said she has learned many animals this way.  She loves the Peek-a-Boo Barn and Peek-a-Boo Wild apps.  Very cute apps for tiny tykes. Especially ones who are repeating everything.

Have a great week!

Rammie Visit...

A much-anticipated visit from Rammie came last week.  I’m sure from not only my two girls but Rammie, herself.  And without fail they showed off every last detail of the few months that had pasted without her here.

We kept her busy…playing barbies, legos and polishing toe nails.  We took her to the Houston Aquarium, her first time, but also my favorite place to eat fish and chips!  So…we celebrated my 30th birthday, family style, with FISH! It was the greatest!

Then we visited the Butterfly Center at the Houston Museum of Natural Science.  One of the only requests she had on her agenda while visiting.  AMAZING.  Can’t wait to go back.  Charlie was not totally well but she still had a good time…and Sophie…I couldn’t get to leave!  One Luck Lady even got to hold a butterfly.  It LOVED her.  Beautiful world of butterflies…

Sophie and her new BFF...

And…every grandchild gets new shoes from Rammie and Rampa. Always.

Thanks so much for an AWESOME visit Rammie.  We love you and miss you already.

Sophie's Last Day of Pre-Preschool...

So cute.  Her last day of school.

This morning she had a school "performance".  Each class had practiced their routine for weeks and was supposed to not only sing but dance to their dedicated song  Let’s just say it made for a very…um…entertaining? morning.

Ms. Bonnie and Ms. Kitty...

To our SURPRISE…Sophie freaking nailed it!  She was actually crying when I dropped her off.  She was terrified of getting on stage…you’d never know it watching this chick!  Check out a shortened clip…

Seriously!!!  She totally got showered with treats that evening.

Definite…Proud Parent Moment.  You made it through tiny one!

Love to everyone reading.
