First Day of School...

Sophie's first day of school.  [sniffle, sniffle]  I can't say she is thrilled about going to school but we had to start somewhere so she'll be attending CrossPoint Christian School on Tuesdays and Thursday for the remainder of [their] school year.  We were lucky enough to get right in being on the waiting list for no more than a week.

Mike and I took her in to tour the school and it is truly UNBELIEVABLE.  The staff are all super friendly and the kids looked so happy.  Super clean [pretty new] and really a great experience from the moment we walked in.

Okay...so back to the "First Day".  I don't actually have a picture of her and the first day since she was very nervous and cried from the moment she woke up.  We stayed with her during devotions which is when they pray, sing a worship song and do annoucements then walked her to her classroom where  the complete melt down occured.  Poor thing...I felt horrible.  Mike and I both cried.  But...on the drive home we got a call from the administrator saying she cried for mere minutes then started to play.  I picked her up and she was super confident.  A new little woman...she made a friend named Olivia and had a great day.  SUCCESS!!
